 Jancy Parkerson’s First Place award poster for the 2009 Mercer University Undergraduate Research Symposium.  The title of Jancy’s poster presentation was “Psychological and Physiological Effects of 3-Methyl-2-Hexenoic Acid on Women.”  Jancy’s Honors Project in Psychology (Psy 496) was an interdisciplinary effort supervised by Honors Committee members John C. Wright, Ph.D., CAAB (Chair; Psychology), Kevin M. Bucholtz, Ph.D. (Chemistry), and William J. Jenkins, Ph.D. (Psychology).


      

Psychology majors Karen Adkins, Allison Smith, Tiffany Duffy and Katie Daniel, with their faculty advisor Dr. John C. Wright, won first place from the Georgia Psychological Association for their research, "The Effects of Temperament and Breed on the Perceptions of Adoptability of shelter Dogs."
